ASSISTANT HOTEL MANAGER

Salary Range: MOP22,000 to 30,000

Reports To: Hotel Manager/ Director

Job Summary:

  • As Assistant Hotel Manager, you will oversee the Front Office team and Housekeeping team to deliver the guest experience in accordance to the company's standards.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Manage daily operations and assignments of the hotel, ensure team is prepared and well informed to deliver an exceptional experience from the minute that guests enter the hotel.

  • Ensure Housekeeping upkeep the appearance and cleanliness of the hotel.

  • Ensure product and service quality standards are met in the hotel as relating to appearance, levels of maintenance and cleanliness; establishing and maintaining preventative maintenance programs to protect the assets of the hotel.

  • Evaluate guest satisfaction level and monitor trends with a focus on continuous improvements.

  • Maximize room occupancy at best rates and use techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.

  • Achieve productivity and quality goals by establishing performance goals for employee and providing regular feedback. Ensure staff are properly trained and equipped with the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out job functions.

  • Initiate salary, disciplinary or other staff related actions in accordance with company rules and policies.

  • Alert regional management of serious issues at the earliest opportunity.

What you should possess:

  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in hotel

  • Degree or diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent

  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

  • High level of IT proficiency

  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Experienced in managing and developing people

  • Accountable, resilient and with good sense of task prioritization

  • Ability to multi-task and display grace when under pressure and able to manage with strong self initiative

  • A keen eye for details

  • Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations

  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team

  • Ability and willingness to work night, weekends, and/or holidays occasionally

Front Desk Agent

Responsibilities /職責:

  • Create an exceptional and unique Caravel experience by helping customers resolve issues or/and make special arrangements

  • 透過協助客戶解決問題或/和做出特殊安排,創造卓越且獨特的卡爾酒店體驗

  • Push the boundaries in customer service by ensuring smooth operation of front desk services (i.e check in/out)

  • 透過確保前台服務(即入住/退房)的順利運行,為我們的客戶提供卓越的體驗

  • Live and share the Caravel Hotel brand with guests, imparting thoughtfulness, wit and delight

Requirements/要求:

  • Degree / Diploma holder in hospitality management.

  • At least 1 year customer service experience in hospitality.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

  • Shift duty including overnight shift is required.

HOUSEKEEPER/ ROOM ATTENDANT

Salary Range: MOP9,000 to 9,500

Responsibilities /職責:

  • Making sure that all guests get a warm welcome

  • 確保所有客人都感到賓至如歸的款待

  • Ensuring all rooms assigned to you are tidy and clean

  • 確保分配的所有房間整潔乾淨

  • Reporting any room defects or lost & found items promptly

  • 及時報告任何房間缺陷或失物招領物品

  • Ensuring that guest amenities and cleaning supplies are promptly replenished

  • 確保及時補充賓客設施和清潔用品

  • Ensuring the cleanliness of any other area assigned

  • 確保指定的任何其他區域的清潔

Requirements/要求:

  • Passionate, service-oriented, pleasant personality, good communication and interpersonal skills

  • 熱情、服務至上、個性開朗、良好的溝通及人際溝通能力

  • Shift duty including weekends and public holidays

  • Prior housekeeping/public area experience in hotel industry will be preferred
