System Engineer
About the Role
As a System Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering modern datacenter services and solutions, able to coordinate turnkey and largescale projects including internal technical resource and external partners to complete project statement of work and milestone within budget and timeline with customer's satisfaction.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to develop hands-on competencies for professional service delivery, demonstrate products and provide technical support to clients & business partners. Our team is seeking a promising candidate to join them.
What You’ll Do
Assist Solution & Service Managers in providing solution support, delivering deep dive product demonstrations to clients and business partners.
Solution planning and design
Deliver datacenter, hybrid solutions and services
Deliver training to partners on products solution
Coordinate and manage technical validation events (POC) and assets.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Travel to Hong Kong may be required
What We’re Looking For
Knowledge in general system infrastructure technologies including Storage Area Network, backup and recovery, virtualization, cloud computing, Linux, and DevOps (K8S, OpenShift).
Experience in Implement, configure, and administrate infrastructure provisioning is an advantage.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems independently.
Self-motivated, flexible, and sensitive to clients’ needs and concerns.
Able to work in a multi-task environment and handle a high volume of requests, specifically unplanned/unscheduled requests.
Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
Knowledge in general of IBM AS/400 or AIX is an advantage.
Certified Linux Professional, CCNA or CCNP is a plus.
Requirements
Degree holder in Information Technology or related discipline
3 years’ in-depth experience in Linux/Unix server, virtualization, backup and recovery implementation and support
Excellent written and verbal communications in English and Cantonese
Analytical skills to effectively evaluate customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions in a highly competitive market.
Work independently
A candidate with less experience will be considered.

System Engineer
About the Role
As a Engineer, you’ll play a key role in providing technical support to the Sales team and presenting tailored demonstrations to clients. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to conduct Technical Proof of Concept, Demonstration & Presentation on the supported products & solutions.
What You’ll Do
Assist Account/Product Managers with qualification of opportunities by providing technical support.
Provides pre-sales technical support and deliver deep dive product demonstrations to customers and business partners.
Delivers training to partners on products solution.
Contribute to and refine technical RFP/RFI responses
Customer demonstrations and presentations
Coordinating and managing technical validation events (POC)
Coordinating and managing POC assets
Participating in conferences, shows, exhibitions when appropriate and requested
Recommend and influence market content.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
Requires an in-depth knowledge of vendor products and general networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS (UNIX) Admin, and experience with compute, virtualization, storage and backup solution
In depth understanding and knowledge of current IT landscape and technology of network, Operating Systems, Database, Cloud, etc
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with ability to articulate complex technology simply.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
Self-motivated and flexible.
Ability to effectively multi-task and be able to handle a high volume of requests, specifically unplanned/unscheduled requests.
Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
Able to exhibit ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feeling of others.
Able to interact effectively with all levels of management.
